About this recipe

When to use it

A cart-page progress bar showing how close someone is to free shipping is the top-cited AOV-lifting test in current CRO content, but the lift depends on your own margins and threshold. This measures it directly.

What it delivers

Tests a cart-page free-shipping progress bar (e.g. '$12 away from free shipping') against no progress bar at all.

How you prompt this

Describe the outcome in your own words and Blu Agent maps it to this recipe, or run it by name. It drafts a plan first and nothing runs until you approve it.

Taxonomy notes: - This recipe assumes the merchant has a configured free shipping threshold. If you also run free-shipping-threshold-test (server experiment testing the dollar value), schedule them sequentially: don't run them concurrently to avoid interaction effects. - "Cart subtotal" is read from cart state (Cart created, cart_updated events with Order total property). - The progress bar's biggest signal is AOV lift; expect 8-15% AOV uplift for stores below the typical free-shipping threshold.
